Our apartment is in a wonderful location for walking to the famous South Shore beaches of Bermuda or hiking along the cliffs. Closest to our property is Horseshoe Bay, one of the most popular South Shore beaches with its pink sands, and many facilities (including food and drink concession stands, bathrooms, showers, and beach equipment rentals).

Also within walking distance are bus stops along Middle Road, which heads both West over to Somerset, and East into the city of Hamilton. For grocery shopping there are several options in the area, with the closest being a walk away to the Market Place grocery store on Middle Road.

Nearby restaurants within walking distance include: The Wok Express, Island Cuisine, Tio-Pepe, Pizza House, Mr. Chicken, and the Waterlot Inn.

Nearby attractions include: The Fairmont Southampton Hotel (with several good restaurants, a spa, and watersport rentals), Gibbs Hill Lighthouse (go up and take in the far-reaching views), and golf courses (the closest being Riddell’s Bay and Belmont Golf Course).

The city of Hamilton is a 20-25 minute drive East of the property, where you can do some shopping, enjoy a restaurant meal, and take part in Harbour Nights on Front Street from May to September. The charming hamlet of Somerset Village is a 10-15 minute drive West of the property, with shops and cafes. Just beyond Somerset is the 200 year old Naval Dockyard, now converted into a museum and shopping concourse with pubs, crafts market, a parasail operation, charter boats, beach facilities, etc.
